Remote
Control Interface
The 402 power supply features a common interface
with the 802 and XR802, via a 25pin D-type female connector located on the rear panel of the unit. The table below
shows details of the function and the pin-out for the connector.

HV Output
The HV output connector on all oil insulated units is a proprietary
ALE design. A standard 10ft high voltage cable is supplied which is
terminated at the power supply end only. If the supply is operated
at voltages above 20kV and 200Hz rep rate it is recommended that a
silicone grease such as Dow Corning DC-4 is applied to the cable
termination before insertion in the supply. Greasing should be
repeated to ensure as much air as possible is displaced from the
connector.

Panel Configurations
The 402 power supply is available with 3 panel configurations the L,
S, and OEM. The L or Lab version features a fully instrumented front
panel with the following functions;
